Zoe…as always a well drafted and thought provoking episode. As a former small business owner (50 years-not sewing related) I understand the day to day accomplishments as well as the hardships. I often went without a paycheck so I could meet payroll for my staff. Our household tries very hard to frequent small businesses of every kind including those that are sewing related. BRAVA in educating our community! I would love to hear your thoughts on the best ways to support the many online small businesses with regard to making. Thanks again for an amazing podcast and for sharing your vast knowledge and exposing us to so many talented people.
Ah Sharon, thank you SO MUCH for this lovely, supportive comment! Sadly, I think that experience of small business owners not being able to pay themselves regularly isn’t unusual, is it?
